Firmware Update Version 1.0.8 para a Canon 60D
Será que justifica-se instalar este firmware já que não possuo nenhuma das lentes em questão na actualização?
Por acaso algumas das fotos que tirei com o flash ficaram sobre expostas, mas também tinha aumentado o nÃvel do flash 1/3-2/3, por isso achei normal.

Deve-se instalar SEMPRE os updates de firmware. A lista de actualizações às vezes é extensa e eles não colocam toda a info...  |

Ainda hoje actualizei a minha 500D do 1.0.9 para o 1.1.0, e os problemas de focagem foram á vida, embora a Canon apenas desse destaque ao melhoramento das informações do live view! Gostei do facto de a 50mm f1.4 ter passado a focar como deve ser! (sim a 1.4). Penso que mesmo a Canon dizendo que so vai alterar 2 pontos, muita coisa errada é alterada!!

Canon updates firmware for EOS 60D

Canon has released a firmware update for its EOS 60D mid-level DSLR. Firmware v1.0.9 fixes bugs relating to Live View shooting in specific conditions. The latest version also changes name of the Art Filter feature in the Japanese market to Creative Filters keeping it consistent across all regions. Canon has posted a firmware update for its EOS 7D digital SLR. Firmware v1.2.5 fixes bugs relating to stills and video recording with specific CF cards and image stabilization with specific lenses in custom setting mode. The latest version also improves read/write speeds when using UDMA 7 compatible CF cards. The firmware is available for immediate download from Canon's website.
Changes in this firmware:
Firmware Version 1.2.5 incorporates the following improvements and fixes.
1. Fixed a rare phenomenon in which there were rare cases where movie files taken could not be opened when repeatedly shooting movies with specific CF cards.
2. Fixed a rare phenomenon in which there were cases where "Err 02" appeared when repeatedly shooting still images with specific CF cards.
3. Fixed a phenomenon that occurred when using high-capacity (32 GB or greater) CF cards: If either a CF card with only a little available space remaining or the battery was removed and then reinserted into the camera, and then the user attempted to start shooting movies immediately, shooting would stop.
4. Improved the writing/reading speeds when using UDMA 7-compatible CF cards.
5. Fixed a phenomenon that occurred when custom function C.Fn 4-1 was set to assign IS start to the AF stop button on the lens: When used with lenses that do not have an AF stop button, the IS function would not work.
6. Corrected some mistakes in the menu screens displayed in Arabic and Portuguese. (This applies to models in overseas markets. The models for the Japanese market do not display those languages.)
The Version 1.2.5 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.2.4. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.2.5, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Note that cameras with the Version 1.2.5 firmware (and also Versions 1.2.0 through 1.2.4) cannot be downgraded to a previous firmware version (such as Version 1.1.0 or earlier).

Fixes incorrect indications in the Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Arabic, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai and Turkish menu screens. EOS 60D Firmware Update Version 1.1.0: Fixes a phenomenon where the wireless built-in flash settings are reset to defaults when the battery is removed from the camera. Fixes an intermittent phenomenon where image-rotation information is not recognized correctly when shooting with the camera in the vertical position depending on the timing of the shutter release. EOS REBEL T3i / 600D Firmware 1.0.1: Clarifies the feature guide description of the digital zoom function for movie-shooting that appears on the camera’s LCD monitor. Fixes a phenomenon in which, in rare cases, a computer connected to the camera with a USB cable cannot recognize the camera. |
